P90x Dumbells
Do I need to join a gym for the P90x program?
The P90X program, I think I’m going to join because I want to look good. I already work out but still want to lose a little excess fat I have in the gut. Anywho, anyone that tried this program, do I need to go out and join the gym or will I get the full effect by buying those dumbells? tips?
I started working out again about 11 months ago. I just started eating right, running, and hitting the weights. I then stepped up to Power 90 and I am currently on my last month of P90X. And I do not have a gym membership. I figured that a gym membership, after 4 months, would be the same cost as P90X but I get to keep P90X.
That being said, it is not a bad idea to join a gym. You will get to do different exercises in the gym. I do think that you can achieve great results without spending the extra money and burning yourself out with extra workouts.
The only things I use are the DVD’s, a pull up bar, and resistance bands. I always loved free weights and said I would never use resistance but I was wrong. I love the bands and it was cheaper than a bunch of dumbbells.
I am by know means the training guru but I have lost 95 lbs and I think the program has done great for me. I also think that it will work for anyone who is focusing on the nutrition and exercise parts of the program.
