Leg Extension Leg Curl Machine
basketball players only please!!! Help with basketball workout?
Hi. I am a 15 year old girl and I play basketball. I need to get stronger and quicker. I go to a gym and I do the machines and I know how to do them and everything but I don’t know which ones help specifically for basketball. Can someone help me with a workout or at least tell me what to do to get quicker and stronger specifically for basketball. I can’t afford to pay a trainer or someone to help me.
This is what’s at my gym:
-machine bicep curl
-machine triceps(the opposite of the curl where you puch down instead)
-chest pec/fly machine
-lat pulldown machine
-seated cable row
-chest press machine
-leg extension machine
-leg sled
-calf raises machine
i can also use a medicine ball and a stabability ball
thanks

To get back in shape:
1. Use dumbells to weight lift and shape up your arms and burn fat to prepare your arms for shooting.
2. Also, you want to do at least 30 frizner squats a day to stretch your muscle to get used to jumping again.
3. Run a couple miles a day to burn any fat you gained on your time off.
To get your shot back and skills:
1. Shoot 10 free throws a day.
2. Shoot 10 3 pointers a day (2 from each of the 5 main angles: left, mid left, top, mid right, right)
3. 5 right layups, 5 left layups.
4. 5 post up shots, from right and left sides.
5. After all of that, shoot around from anywhere for about 30 minutes.
6. Go to a locl recreation center like i do and just play LOTS of pickup games with harder opponents. You will get back into the swing of things with that.
Do this with all you are doing and you will be fine.
Trust me.
Hope this helps.
