Dumbells 15 Lb
Anyone use resistance bands instead of free weights?
I usually use 8 or 15 lb dumbells depending on the exercise… I’ve recently relocated… couldn’t bring my equipment with me. Any recommendations concerning resistance bands? Are they worth buying? How do I know what kind (colour?) to get?
Do a little research before you go buy some bands. The color doesn’t matter, the weight and quality does. DON’T BUY FROM WAL-MART, THEY BREAK. I use the bands from Billy Blanks, since I use the BootCamp Elite. They work really well and they’re high quality. They should be enough to get your 8-15 pounds. I LOVE resistance training because you can do a lot more versatile exercises with them (like kickboxing and punches). You can also check out the bands from BeachBody.com (P90X program). I haven’t used them, but you can probably get a lot more weight out of them. Best of luck!
